A fully automatic winding machine is a machine that winds linear objects onto specific workpieces. As a newly developed machine type, fully automatic winding machines generally adopt a multi-head linkage design to meet the requirements of high efficiency and high output. Most domestic manufacturers refer to the design of imported models from Taiwan and other places, using programmable controllers as the control core of the equipment, coupled with robotic arms, pneumatic control components, and execution accessories to complete functions such as automatic wire arrangement, automatic foot wrapping, automatic wire cutting, and automatic loading and unloading of skeletons. This type of machine has extremely high production efficiency, greatly reducing the dependence on labor. One operator can take care of several such devices at the same time, ensuring relatively stable product quality and making it very suitable for processing occasions with high production requirements.

To accommodate the coil processing technology, fully automatic winding machines must be equipped with spindle speed regulation functions. The configuration of winding equipment varies depending on the type of processing. The spindle motor types we are familiar with include AC motors, DC motors, and servo drive motors. These motors employ speed regulation methods with their own unique characteristics.

1. Speed regulation methods for AC motors: These motors do not have speed regulation capabilities themselves. They require electromagnetic speed regulation devices or the addition of frequency converters to achieve speed regulation. In winding equipment, the frequency converter speed regulation method is commonly seen. The control system of the winding equipment controls the frequency converter to enable the motor to have speed regulation capabilities. This method also has a certain energy-saving effect.

II. Speed regulation methods for DC motors: DC motors require the supplied power to be converted into DC electricity before they can be driven to operate. Therefore, DC motors are equipped with DC speed regulation boards or brushless drivers to drive and control the motor. Due to their small size, DC motors are widely used in small winding equipment.

III. Speed regulation method of servo drive motor: It belongs to precision motion components and is suitable for high-precision winding equipment. It is used in conjunction with a dedicated driver to achieve closed-loop operation control. The characteristics of this type of motor are constant torque and closed-loop operation, which are used to meet the processing requirements of high-precision coils.
